Father, may I trust Your true compassion to me,
even when my commitment to You falters.
Lord, may I trust You with my inability to trust in You.
I give You the wrong choices I make daily.
and the barriers I’ve built within me.
I give You my abandoned dreams and lost hopes,
and commitments I’ve broken or failed.
I give You the friends who I’ve slighted, or hurt,
and the tangle of misunderstandings.
Father, I trust You with the frightened child within
who I dare not face, and only You can heal.
Lord, I believe – help me trust You with my unbelief.
